What Makes Key Radio Unique
Key Radio is the only not-for-profit community station at Lake of the Ozarks. Our sole purpose is to educate and inform about the issues and events affecting our community. We have no sectarian or for-profit motive. Although we enjoy Christian and commercial broadcasters, our not-for-profit status keeps us above the fray so we can provide a more unbiased perspective.

Radio Broadcast
The broadcast station range of 89.3 FM is Osage Beach extending as far as Walmart in Camdenton. However, it is streaming on the Internet to extend that range. Click here to listen.

How We Operate
We are licensed as non-commercial FM, meaning we depend on donations to pay for operating costs. You may, of course, donate directly to Key Radio; but we have another strategy. Each of our content providers (people who have a program on Key Radio) will get financial support for their program and contribute a small portion to Key Radio. In this way, donors will support exactly the content they want to support. Our content providers will be like radio missionaries, getting like-minded people to give so they can go out to their mission fields.

Content Providers
The best way to explain a content provider is to describe an example. Suppose that growing food at home is your passion and you want to tell everyone about gardening. Your sphere of influence is learning and education. As a content provider you will be given one hour of program time each week. That hour becomes part of an eight hour daily rotation that repeats three times in 24 hours. We’re asking that one hour to be pre-recorded and submitted as two 28-minute segments or one 56 minute segment so we can add intros and breaks.
